Masahiro (Masa) Noda

With over 20 years of experience at Am Law 100 firmsโ€”including 11 years as a partnerโ€”Masa founded Noda Law Group to deliver top-tier legal expertise through a more business-friendly, client-focused model.

Masa Nodaโ€™s practice spans all areas of trademark, copyright, and unfair competition law. Known for his strong legal foundation and business-oriented approach, Masa offers practical, strategic counsel in brand development, trademark clearance, and prosecution.

In addition to his advisory work, Masa is an experienced litigator. He represents clients in cases involving trademark and copyright infringement, false advertising, proceedings before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, breach of contract, and internet-related disputes. His practice also includes intellectual property licensing, merchandising, anti-counterfeiting, data privacy and cybersecurity, contract disputes, acquisitions and divestitures, IP commercialization, and due diligence reviews.

Masa advises a diverse range of clientsโ€”from startups to established companiesโ€”across industries such as consumer retail, personal care, food and beverage, restaurants, fintech, fashion, entertainment, and media.

As a native Japanese speaker fluent in both English and Japanese, Masa brings a deep understanding of Japanese business culture.
